| The Acute Injury & Illness Center ("AIIC") opened in Highlands Ranch in 1997. At that time Highlands Ranch was under served by the medical community and AIIC filled Highland Ranch's need for walk-in / urgent care.
AIIC was founded with the aim of providing the highest quality urgent medical care in a professional, friendly and time-efficient manner. AIIC has grown considerably since 1997 but remains independent and true to its founding values. AIIC opened its second urgent care center in Parker on September 29th, 2007.
AIIC works with Patients' primary care physicians, specialists and the local emergency rooms to ensure patients receive top quality care and follow-up.
A large percentage of our patient visits are from returning patients and patient recommendations, which we hope is testament to the quality and convenience of the urgent care service we provide.
We consider it important to encourage health and fitness in the local community and therefore we sponsor a number of charities and local events such as the Highlands Ranch Run Series and the South Suburban Parks & Recreation sports leagues for kids.
